We are looking for a Casual Radiographer to join our friendly team. This position will operate a C- Arm machine throughout pain intervention surgeries. This presents a distinguished opportunity for a radiographer to be part of a team led by exclusive pain intervention leaders.

Sydney Pain Day Surgery is proudly part of the PresMed Australia Day Hospital Group. PresMed Australia specialises in the investment, commissioning and management of day hospital facilities in partnership with surgeons, and has established 7 successful facilities in Chatswood, Epping, Central Coast, Hornsby, Blacktown and Tasmania. With more than 160 accredited surgeons associated with the group.

Sydney Pain Day Surgery is a state-of-the-art facility including precision instrumentation, hi-tech equipment and exacting sterilisation procedures complemented by highly experienced specialist nursing and administrative staff.

Our preferred candidate has at least 2 years’ radiography experience including operating the C-Arm and preferably possesses theatre and pain management procedure experience.

Criteria:

• Hold current AHPRA registration to work as a Radiographer, with the MRPB of Australia
• Current NSW EPA Radiation License with GE1 supervision
• Good knowledge of Radiation Safety Laws
• Current professional indemnity insurance
• Be fully vaccinated (3 doses) for COVID 19
• A current WWCC (Working with Children Check)
• Minimum 2 years’ radiography experience
• Experience in C-Arm machine radiography – highly regarded
• Proven ability to conduct examinations and to perform routine to complex clinical procedures within a fast-paced environment
• Computer literacy, with focus on PACS experience, for use and understanding of data analysis and trends, to inform decisions
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
