Sydney Pain Day Surgery is home a group of specialist PeriOperative Nurses and was proud to spend time celebrating the very real daily contributions made to patients’ lives. Sydney Pain Day Surgery’s annual celebration of Peri-Operative Nurses Week was enjoyed by all who attended. Our perioperative nurses engage their care toward patients prior, during and post-surgery including in anaesthetics and recovery. Dr Mohabbati has a special interest in interventional pain and using modern modalities to treat it – including neuromodulation and spinal implants (intrathecal pumps, spinal cord stimulators, DRG and peripheral nerve stimulators) (“remote control” pain relief) Radiofrequency Ablation(RFA) and other advanced pain therapies.
